Welcome to the Knox Churches Soccer Club - A New Decade!

Thanks for dropping by to check out our fun, family club - that develops and encourages players in the World Game. .

Only a month to go and the season will be done, this is somewhat sad, but what a season it has been so far – and its not over yet. We still have our Trivia Night to go and our various presentation events and our senior teams are still in the running for cup and shield finals and maybe even a premiership – this is also true for some of our junior teams. THANK YOU to all of you that participated in the “Call-To-Arms” last week, by all accounts it was a huge success and many of our opposition teams also participated. I trust that many of you have been writing letters to the Knox Council in particular your local councillors, urging them to consider upgrading the Knox Park surface very soon… If you have THANK YOU:

• PLEASE do support our club sponsors - Take note of our club sponsors and support them, generally they offer discounts to our club members – details in this newsletter.

• PLEASE do consider buying some of our club merchandise – we have KCSC Tracksuits, Umbrellas, Key Rings and Bumper Stickers for sale – these are available from the canteen on match days.

• PLEASE remember our club is run on a completely voluntary basis – everything and anything that each of you do or can do – from picking up a small piece of rubbish to coaching a team to being on committee goes a long way to helping our children have a safe and fun environment to play this great game. It also contributes in a significant way to society and the Knox Community that we are part off.

• PLEASE do not forget our TRIVIA NIGHT – tickets are available NOW – speak to Helen Dunlop TODAY. We have tables of ten which you can fill with friends or you can simply come with your partner or by yourself and we will help you find a table – hopefully a winning one. Regardless you will have a good night… just want to let you know that we have some great auction items this year including a genuine AC Milan Ronaldinho player shirt signed by the man himself!!!

• PLEASE also note that the KNOX CHURCHES CRICKET CLUB is gearing up for another awesome summer season of cricket playing in the Eastern Cricket Association – there will be registration “sign-up” opportunities towards the end of August at Knox Park on the Saturday mornings if you would like any further information please contact Michael de Kretser on mjdekretser@optusnet.com.au
