Welcome to the Knox Churches Soccer Club

Knox Churches Soccer Club is a fun, family-friendly club that enjoys giving all that wish to, an opportunity to play the real football – The World Game. As a club we have been serving the Knox community for over 12 years and we enjoy the fact that we are one of the largest clubs in the City of Knox. Our home ground is at Knox Park, which is located off Ferntreegully Road in Knoxfield, right behind the Knox Obedience Dog Club. Knox Churches Soccer club fields teams in the Victorian Churches Football Association (VCFA) competition, these teams are in the Junior competition from undr 8 through to under 17, and in the senior competition both in mens and ladies. All competition games are held on Saturdays with juniors in the mornings and senior men and ladies in the afternoons. We also host a Goalkick program each Saturday during the regular season from 9.30am to 10.45am at Knox Park, this program is for all children aged 5+ years.

The registration evening last Wednesday was a awesome, to see so many new faces and the steady stream of returning players all excited by the prospect of startung soccer again. We are working through the numbers at the moment and reconciling the number of teams that we will field in each age group based on the registration sreceived so far. If you would still like to play or your child, please get a registration form with payment in t ous ASAP and we will consider it on a “space available” basis.

Last Wednesday also saw the final of our summer competition played out on a warm summer's evening. The game between Twins'n'Co and The Hadron Colliders was played in good spirit and was a tough battle between some impressive players. However, Twins'n'Co emerged as the victors for a 6th consecutive year. Congratulations to both teams for making teh final and a great game, and well done to the eight teams that participated through the summer. Hope to see you all back next summer.

With the end of the summer competition all senior pre-season training will ramp up. Men will now be training both Mondays and Wednesdays, please print out the schedule and make eveyr effort to make all or as many of tehse sessions. All ladies will commence pre season on Wednesday February 13th and thereafter on mondays and Wednesdays.
